So, I have previously mentioned this book. Not in that much detail but I really felt that I needed to. This is my all time favourite book. Nothing I have ever read compares. It is a modern interpretation of Susan Coolidge's What Katy Did. It also has a different ending as Jacqueline always hated the original ending. I love his book because Katy is faced with so many challenges before the incident never mind after, they are also things I can relate to. The 1872 version doesn't have that many things I can relate to as it was written so long ago. This book makes me feel I can achieve anything, no matter how hard it may seem at the time. Katy finds herself having to start a new life without anything she loved in her old life, but she does miss them immensely that she gets frustrated. I would recommend this to any age as it is such a timeless classic brought into the modern world x
